Gypcrete is a gypsum concrete floor underlayment used in wood-frame and concrete construction for floor levelling, radiant heating, sound reduction, and fire ratings. You must be a licensed applicator to install gypcrete. Gypcrete has many advantages over lightweight concrete. Gypcrete is not as apt to crack and cause floor failures.
